Haunted Halloween With Amity Road Horror

For those of you who are looking for something haunting, scary and beseechingly horrific this Halloween in Connecticut, how about heading over The Amity Road Horror event this Halloween. The owner and founder of the event, Eric Soltis, laughs when thinking about how the address and name of the event pays reference to one of the best horror movies and home of all times - Amityville. First off, it sort of references the house and then the address is at 667....think along the lines of 666, guys. Damien? Horror? Devil’s son? Yes, that one.
Be warned that there will be no mercy shown during bus charter Connecticut event where if you dare to enter their haunted neck of the woods, you are going to be plagued with evil of all kinds. Is it suitable for young kids? We think not, unless your kid thinks it is fun to get scared out of their wits, that is. And if that is the case, your kid is going to have loads of fun.
The event has been going on on Friday and Saturday since it opened on September 28. The run will continue on till Oct 18, 2013 so, you have some time to go check the place out. Let us know if you had fun too.
The main ‘character’ taking the stage and spotlight would be the fictional Edward von Hauntington who is an electrician by day and a man who loves scaring people by night. The site did give out a warning that it is perhaps not recommended for kids 13 and under. The creator, Soltis, was proud of the fact that he garnered major support from his friends and family members who trudged along with him in his bid to come up with this September and October tourist attraction.
You can tell that it is absolutely not for the faint-hearted just by visiting their website at www.amityroadhorror.com where the music will send chills down your spine. Amity Road Horror have also set up their own Facebook page where they are getting a lot of support from their fans. Go check them out here -> https://www.facebook.com/pages/Amity-Road-Horror/333927610033738?id=333927610033738&sk=info
For those who are keen to find out more about the tour and what to anticipate when they visit, please visit their website because they have put up a lot of information about pricing, schedule and what to expect when you are there. The attraction can be found at 667, Amity Road, Bethany, CT 06524.
Have loads of fun!

Connecticut Science Center

When it comes to loving their kids, parents are willing to do anything. Well, almost anything – and bringing them to the Connecticut Science Center is definitely something that any loving parent would do. Since you would be planning to bring them to the science center, why not make it extra special for them by chartering a bus to bring them there instead of driving there yourself? In fact, they will be even happier if you were to arrange for them to invite some of their friends to come along for this trip too.

If this is going to be your first trip here to the Connecticut Science Center with your kids and their friends in a Connecticut charter bus, you may want to know that this science center is rather unique as it is a 9-storey museum that is located at 250 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, CT and it was opened in the year 2009. With a total of approximately 154,000 sq. ft., one can only imagine the amount of exhibits and displays that are found in there. In fact, the Connecticut Science Center has dedicated about 40,000 sq. ft. of interactive displays that many kids would enjoy.

Once you get down with all the kids (we are assuming that you are bringing your own kids as well as their friends too!) from the CT charter bus, you will almost immediately notice that the building has very high ceilings and bright colors too – giving you a very welcoming feeling. In fact, by now, we believe that all the kids are already excited and can’t wait to get in and start checking out the science center already. CT Science Center is very well arranged and they have three separate themed floors and you can easily keep a watch over the kids because they have one door in and one door out, so you can be sure that they can have the freedom to explore and roam the whole floor without them running off somewhere else without you noticing. On each floor, they have very friendly and knowledgeable staff to guide the kids if they are stuck with a certain exhibit while learning to play with it. There is also a café for you to grab a bite if the entourage gets hungry after all the running and exploring in the CT Science Center. Bathrooms are also available on each floor of the building, so you don’t have to worry about the little ones needing to go to the bathroom halfway through their exploring in the science center. Once everyone is happy and are done with touring the place, you can rest assure that the CT charter bus is waiting for everyone at the main entrance to bring all the tired but happy little ones home.

Avon Theatre Film Center

The Avon Theatre Film Center is a wonderful place for you to go with your friends in a chartered Connecticut bus to watch some really great quality independent film that you usually don’t get to watch in mainstream theaters. The owner of the theater kept the building’s feel of a classic movie theater, which is quite unique and you can rarely get to see such buildings anymore. Besides, they also have some really fantastic restaurants nearby where you can go before or after your show.

In fact, as you go to the Avon Theatre Film Center in your chartered Connecticut bus with your friends, you can always go around the nearby restaurants to see what are the available options or what seems to attract your attention the most, for your dining experience. From Spanish to Mexican to Italian to Indian food – you are literally spoilt for choice when it comes to dining nearby the theatre.

You can always choose to dine at one place, go for the show and then return later to have some drinks at another place. Why not make full use of the service of the chartered bus for this outing? After all, it is not like you get to do this every day – so you and your friends might as well take full advantage of the great services that are provided by the Connecticut charter bus company.

After having filled your tummies with delicious food, a great performance is awaiting you and your bus friends at the Avon Theater Film Center. As you get down from the chartered bus, you will feel as though you have just arrived at a fancy hall that’s been decorated with lights and it almost feel like you are the celebrity that they are waiting to welcome. And that’s just the beginning of your theatrical experience at the Avon Theater. As you walk through the hallway, you will enjoy the ambience and deco inside the theater which gives you a feel of walking down memory lane and the theater hall itself is huge and airy too.

There have been many movies, documentaries and foreign films as well as Hollywood classics that are shown here at the Avon Theatre and this is what draws the crowd to come in chartered buses – simply because you don’t really get to find such shows anywhere else. Besides, where else can you go where you can get a feel of a classical theater if not the Avon Theater at Stamford, Connecticut?

If you are due for a family vacation soon, a visit to the Mark Twain Museum Center will be just the thing to do and don’t forget to book a charter bus to take you there too.
The Mark Twain Museum Center was opened in the year 2003 and provides visitors an insight of the life of Mark Twain and his family during their stay in this place where it used to be his home. Be sure to check out the places that he would get inspiration to write. There is also the Hartford Financial Services Theater where they will show a Ken Burns mini video documentary on the life of Mark Twain, a Lincoln Financial Auditorium that seats about 178. On the second floor of the house, you will be see that they have a comfortable café area.
